FLEMINGTON RACE 2 – 12:20 AEST
- SWEET KAROLINA ($4.40)
Sweet Karolina looks on the up in her career, with the 3YO filly notching up her second win in nine starts at Geelong last start. She was slowly away and had to come four wide but was too strong for them late and won by just under a length. She was solid first up at Sandown as well and will be looking to continue her winning streak here.
- EXOBOOM ($3.30)
Looks to be between the top two runners here in Prime Star and Exoboom. I’m siding with the race fit Exoboom who is third up here today. He scored a nice win last start in the Group 3 Hawkesbury Guineas and looks primed to explode here. He toyed with his competitors last prep, so it’d be nice to see him really go on with it here.
FLEMINGTON RACE 7 – 15:30 AEST
- ALTAI RANGER ($4.80)
The 3-year-old Altai Ranger looks a great bet here, despite carrying Matthew Cartright, who has been below his best in recent times. He went straight to the lead last start and refused to be headed by his opposition, holding them out for a strong victory. He shouldn’t face too much pressure out in front and looks a great chance at nice odds.

Don’ttelltheboss drops back in class here after travelling to Morphettville to contest the Group 2 Queen of the South last start. She performed admirably, working home strongly to finish 2.3L away from winner Fabric. The start prior, she finished a neck away to Thousand Wishes at Caulfield. She’ll appreciate this easier task and can finish close up here.
