WARRNAMBOOL RACE 3 – 12:20 AEST
- HIGH FEROCITY ($2.65)
High Ferocity looks the one to beat here and he might finally be able to secure his first win, which has eluded him to date. He’s been running well so far this prep, finishing in the placings in his last four runs. He handled the step up to 1500m nicely last start, so I think 1700m should be no issue here.
CANTERBURY RACE 4 – 14:35 AEST
- ZELIFY ($2.15)
Half the field has been scratched here, leaving just four runners to contest the race. Zelify looks a great chance for Berry/Waller after scoring a nice win at Kembla Grange last start. He was poor first up at Gosford, but managed to hit back last start and looks the one to beat in this small field. Has won on Soft ground before, so expecting him to run a solid race here.
CANTERBURY RACE 5 – 15:10 AEST
- BETHENCOURT ($3.60)
Bethencourt is first up here but has had two solid trials leading in, so I think he’ll be ready to go first up. He showed talent last prep, winning strongly at Wyong before somewhat failing at Kensington the following start. He’s certainly got some room left to improve, and if he returns well, he’ll be hard to hold out today.

WARRNAMBOOL RACE 7 – 14:45 AEST
- FIABLE ($15)
This race looks wide open and I think there could be a number of chances at goods, however, I’m siding with last start winner Fiable. Fiable scored at big odds last start after settling midfield and making a wide run rounding the turn. She was too strong late and up against this field, she’s certainly in this. She’s also won at the ‘Bool in Heavy conditions, so should handle the going.
