BLUEY’S BEST
- SALATEEN ($1.95)
Had two trials leading into her first up run last start, in which she was extremely impressive in, winning by a dominant 3 lengths. She sat midfield and put in a very strong last 400m, sprinting powerfully to score. No doubt the one to beat again here and looks a deserving favourite.
- BELLINGER ($1.90)
Bellinger has yet to score a win from his four start career, but he gets a great chance here in a small field. He’s had two encouraging runs so far this prep, finishing under a length away in each of them. The way he hit the line was extremely impressive and he should enjoy the long Sandown straight. He’ll be very tough to beat.
- HARLEM BLUES ($3.20)
Harlem Blues is first up here today, returning after a gelding operation. He found success two preparations ago, but performed a little bit under expectations last prep. He still ran fairly last prep, but was unable to score victory. If he can return well today, he should be every chance here today.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
- KNOWITALL JACK ($11)
Flexible looks a deserving favourite after an impressive last start win at Kensington. However, I think he’s come up a touch short and there looks to be some value around him. Knowitall Jack has been ticking boxes this prep and improving with each run. Last start, he sat on the speed and stuck on gamely for third. He should get a good run on the speed and looks over the odds.
