- LEAN THY ARMS ($3.30)
Former NZ gelding who has been racing well this prep without winning. He’s finished second in his past two runs and third prior to that. He looks like a horse which takes a few runs to get going, and he should be rock hard fit by now. Looks to get the run of the race here behind the two likely leaders and can pop off their back in the straight to win. Should prove hard to beat here.
- COCO CUBER ($3.30)
Was a touch flat first up at Wyong, finishing 6L away in 6th. Followed that up with a much better run, finishing third at Warwick Farm on a rain affected track. In his most recent run, he finished third again, over-racing a touch throughout. Gets the winkers on today and he looks ready to win here fourth up after his two latest promising runs.
- SOARING EAGLE ($6.50)
Has been racing well so far this prep, finishing fourth first up, before putting in two solid runs at Sandown & The Valley to follow. She had a few excuses in her past two runs and could have certainly finished closer. She should find today’s race a touch easier and can improve on her performances. Ready to win now.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
- DOUBLE DINK ($10)
Favourite Savannah Cloud looks terribly hard to beat here, but should he have an off day, Double Dink could be the one to knock him over. Double Dink scored a nice first up win last start, sitting outside the leader and proving too good in the straight. He’ll take improvement from that run and has potentially returned as an improved horse.
