KEMBLA GRANGE RACE 1 – 13:00 AEDT
- KNIGHT ($5.50)
Kim Waugh trained runner who is lightly raced and still looks progressive. He scored a good win here on debut before failing on a heavy track and going for a spell. He resumed this prep with a promising fourth and a narrow second before recording a win at Newcastle last start. Looks like a horse on the up and he could prove tough to run down here.
KEMBLA GRANGE RACE 4 – 14:45 AEDT

Talented Godolphin Colt who has progressed through the grades nicely. He scored a win first up at this track, before facing tougher assignments at Randwick & Rosehill. He’s been a touch unlucky in those runs and hasn’t been far away. He looks ready to win now and will appreciate the drop in class.
KEMBLA GRANGE RACE 6 – 16:05 AEDT
- MACROURA ($3.80)
The extremely talented Macroura resumed last start and put in a top effort on a Heavy track at Rosehill, finishing just 1.5 lengths away from Switched. She hit the line strongly there and should be much improved from that run. Last prep, she rose through the grades nicely, winning a Listed race at Rosehill before tackling the Group 1 JJ Atkins. This race looks well within her grasp.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
- KAPLUMPICH ($11)
Has been racing well so far this prep, finishing in the placings in his past three runs. He was particularly impressive last start at Flemington, sitting wide and closing strongly to finish just half a length away from Do You Reckon, which is solid form for this race. Favourite looks tough to beat, but if he has a chink in his armour, Kaplumpich might be the one to knock him off.
