Port Adelaide vs Richmond Tigers

Friday (16th October 7.50) Adelaide Oval

Mouth-watering clash between two of the best sides for season 2020. The Tigers are on the hunt as they need to travel to Adelaide to secure another Grand Final spot. The Power have been on top of the ladder for the whole year and deserve to be favs for this year flag but they come up against a side that knows how to win finals. The Tigers smashed the Saints last weekend and that was due to their elite skills when going forward and delivering to Tom Lynch. There have been some words from both sides about Lynch this weekend but I have always said do not poke the bear as it can back fire big time, Lynch is a star and could open up the game up. The Power need to set up their attack like they did against the Cats through the middle of the ground their mids got on top early vs the Cats and if they do that tonight they can win. I am worried about the Power forward line Charlie Dixon is a big bag of wind in my eyes and is all talk, Motlop kicked thier goals last weekend and that is a worry as he is up and down. Tigers coming out of the back line can really hurt the Power tonight as they are elite by foot. I am really liking the Tigers at the Line and also just win straight out. Both teams come in unchanged.

Brisbane Lions vs Geelong Cats

Saturday (17th October 7.40) Gabba

This season has been set up for Brisbane to do well and they get their best opportunity of making a grand final since the early 2000s, they have hardly travelled out of Queensland and the Grand Final is being played at the Gabba it would be one of the biggest chokes if the Lions weren't to make this year's Grand Final. In saying that they played unreal footy vs the Tigers in week 1 of the finals and if they bring that pressure, they will beat the Cats on Saturday night. The Cats were fantastic last weekend against a Pies side who just ran out of gas after playing in Perth the weekend before. The Cats forward line is in synch and Dangerfield looks so hungry for his shot at a flag. Little Ablett and Hawkins are in the forms of their lives and if those two fire up expect a very close game. The Lions need to lock down on Gutherie and Duncan who have been providing their forwards with a lot of clean ball when going forward. Charlie Cameron is the X factor for the Lions and if he kicks a bag then it is game on. Expecting fireworks in this game but I believe the Lions will get the win.

H2H

Geelong have won four of the last five games vs the Lions

Best bet

Lions win $1.75
