Adelaide Crows vs Collingwood Magpies
Tuesday (11th August 6.30) Adelaide Oval
Won’t be great viewing tonight with the Crows in all sorts. I thought they were a chance last weekend vs the Demons but again they let in a quick 6 goals after half time and it was good night from there. The Pies travel to Adelaide Oval and they have good form there. It suits their run and carry game and tonight they should have it very easy from the get go. Sidebottom is in good touch and if he can get some clean ball to the forwards I am expecting a big Collingwood win tonight. Would not surprise me if its 10 goals plus. Dunn and Broomhead come in for their first games of season 2020 both off long spells. While the Crows have made more changes then I have had hot meals this year. Dropping Kelly is a weird one, only player in their team who has had a go over the last 4 weeks and he is dropped. Darcy Moore and Maynard are in All Aus form look for them to dominate their opponents tonight. Pies by 40+

Gold Coast Suns vs Essendon Bombers
Wednesday (12th August 7.10) Metricon Stadium
Two teams who need a win badly to stay in touch with the top eight. The Dons last weekend got out to a 28 point lead vs the Giants but put a big hand break on and ended up losing by 4 points. They were all over the Giants in the first half but slowed up and you don’t do that against good sides because if you give them a sniff they will hurt you. The Suns on the other hand pushed the Saints the whole way and if they kicked straight in the last qtr could have had a massive win. They are back on their home deck tonight and I think they can steal the points vs the Bombers. Everyone is saying the Suns will die out in the latter part of the season due to young bodies but I am yet to see this, a lot of run and carry Is needed from the Suns tonight to get a win against the Bombers. Hurley is out being managed and Sexton for the Suns has been dropped. Suns by 10 for me.
