EAGLE FARM RACE 7 – 14:55 AEST
- KINANE ($1.95)
Lightly raced 3YO who looks to have serious star potential. First up, he was out too late and couldn’t reel them in at Warwick Farm but next start went to Wyong and scored an easy 2L victory. Last start was more impressive though, he was superb at Group 3 level at Randwick, letting down strongly to score by over a length. Can go on with it and win again here.
EAGLE FARM RACE 8 – 15:35 AEST
- VEGA ONE ($4.40)
Was eye-catching from the back last start at Doomben, running a sharp last 600m. Looks to be rock hard fit now and will be taking some beating here. His main danger, Kementari, is crying out for 1400m and this will be a bit short for him. Vega One maps around midfield here and should have no issues getting out on the spacious Eagle Farm track.
FLEMINGTON RACE 9 – 16:38 AEST
- HILO ($4.60)
Interesting prep so far for Hilo. He scored a dominant 4.5L victory first up over 1250m and then went down by half a length in a strong Listed race at Rosehill. Found the 1400m on Heavy a bit too much third up and then faced stiff luck last start when three wide no cover at Randwick. Drops back in distance but looks ready to win now.

FLEMINGTON RACE 3 – 12:50 AEST
- BARBIE’S FOX ($11)
Put together a brilliant return last start, blousing the field to score a superb win over the field. Was no doubt benefited from the fast pace and the leaders stopping late but she was still able to sit 4 wide at the rear and sprint impressively late. Looks like she will enjoy 1400m now and could find herself in the mix once again.
