1. VOW & DECLARE ($2.00)
Vow & Declare looks extremely well placed here against the field. He brings a massive class edge, boasting a Melbourne Cup win and Caulfield Cup 2nd last prep. Returned well first up over 2000m before not handling the track at Randwick in the Queen Elizabeth. Step up in distance suits and he should be taking care of this field.
FLEMINGTON RACE 7 – 16:35 AEST
1. THE INEVITABLE ($2.60)
Quietly putting together a tidy career, with 8 wins from just 12 starts. Resumed last start in the Group 1 Newmarket behind Bivouac and put in a fair performance. Has been freshened since and finds a much easier race here. Looks a deserving favourite and should be tough to beat here.
ROSEHILL RACE 8 – 16:55 AEST
6. TRUE DETECTIVE ($3.70)
Massive drop back in class from Group 2 level last start in the Group 2 Arrowfield, where he was checked mid-race before running the second best L200m of the race to finish just 3L away. Prior to that, he had excuses at Randwick in the Fireball. Gets his chance to win here.

3. OXFORD TYCOON ($12)
Oxford Tycoon is rock hard fit now after three solid runs in the Provincial Championships. Two starts back finished under a length away at Newcastle before being well backed at Randwick last start. He was held up for a while entering the straight and hit the line well once out. 1500m is looking suitable for him now.
