BADIA ($4.40)
Badia has come against some strong fields during her career and has faced the likes of; Flit, Anaheed, Splintex and Spaceboy. She hasn’t been without her chance to win a race though, coming up just short on a number of occasions. Blinkers go on today and that could be the key to her finding that killer blow to score her first victory.
SANDOWN – RACE 2 1000m 15:30 AEDT
TYCOON BELLA ($3.00)
This 3-year-old filly has only had three career starts to date but has been impressive, winning two of those starts. She lead all the way in those wins before heading to Flemington, leading and tiring late. She was up in class there and should find this much easier. Should be able to control the race from in front and prove tough to beat.
SANDOWN – RACE 4 1300m 16:40 AEDT
PEIDRA ($3.90)
Peidra should find this grade much easier after running in the Group 3 Zeditave Stakes last start, where he battled away for a 3.5L defeat against the pattern. Draws wide again and will obviously have to come from behind again, however the tempo and class here looks much more suitable and he can finish over the top of them.

SANDOWN – RACE 5 1300m 17:15 AEDT
I’M ALL LOVED UP ($23.00)
This race looks to be wide open, so I’m going to side with a runner who showed an impressive turn of foot to win in her debut run. No doubt up in class here after racing at Maiden grade at Warrnambool that day but can certainly improve off her debut run and take it to the next level.
