SANDOWN – RACE 4 1600m 17:25 AEDT
ANTAGONISER ($2.70)
Antagoniser looks a great chance to score his first win for the prep fourth up here. Resumed at BM70 grade three starts back and stuck on well for a 3.25L defeat. His next two starts were at similar grade and he put in solid, grinding efforts to finish just half-a-length away each time. Down in grade to BM64 here looks perfect, and if he puts in a similar run to his last two starts, he’ll prove tough to beat.
SANDOWN – RACE 5 1300m 18:00 AEDT
SCOTTISH DANCER ($2.40)
Impressed on debut at Benalla with a dominant 1.75L victory over the field, before heading to Flemington to tackle a listed race in just his second start. Finished ninth at Flemington that day but was only 1.8L away from the winner there. Resumes today at BM64 grade after a solid trial and should prove too smart for this field.
SANDOWN – RACE 8 1400m 19:30 AEDT
MISS SISKA ($3.00)
Wham had been knocking on the door this prep, finishing no worse than 2.2L away in his first three starts before unleashing a big sprint at Sandown last start to score a smart 1.75L victory over Confluence, who again lines up here today. Confluence raced well that day but was no match for Wham who looks extremely hard to beat again.

SANDOWN – RACE 3 2400m 16:50 AEDT
SEA STORM ($12.00)
3-year-old Sea Storm broke his maiden status last start with a strong victory at Geelong over 2200m. He’s only had 5 career starts to date and the key to this gelding seems to be a rise in distance. His two starts at 1500m or less resulted in 7L & 13L defeats, however, in all three starts at 2000m plus, he has yet to miss a place. Out to 2400m should suit here and can improve again and run a strong race.
