SANDOWN – RACE 2 1300m 15:40 AEDT
REBEL RACER ($3.60)
Has been well supported in early markets after a promising debut last start at this track. Worked to lead early in that race before being headed at the 300m and eventually going down by just over a length to the talented Namimo. Really liked the way he fought back once headed and should take great improvement from his debut run.
CANTERBURY – RACE 6 1100m 17:15 AEDT
COCO CUBER ($2.40)
Promising mare who was caught wide on speed without cover last start, yet still stuck on gamely for a two length third. Prior to that jumped a short-priced favourite at Gosford and proved far too strong, controlling the race from start to finish. There doesn’t look to be much speed here and the short Canterbury straight should suit. Should prove tough to beat.
SANDOWN – RACE 8 1200m 19:00 AEDT
JUMBO OZAKI ($3.30)
Favourite Bam’s on Fire has burned us (and punters) throughout this prep and gets another chance to win here. I prefer to be on the resuming Jumbo Ozaki who has shown ability first up in the past. Jumbo Ozaki was hot on the heels of some good horses including Rox The Castle last prep and has shown great consistency throughout his career thus far.

SANDOWN – RACE 4 2100m 16:50 AEDT
IGNORED ($11.00)
Former Kiwi runner who is having her third Australian start here. Only had one go at this trip, which was at Group 2 level at NZ, where she finished only 5L away. That form looks promising for BM70 grade and can improve sharply on her two Australian starts. Williams can get her into a great position from barrier 4.
