Showcased her ability on debut, finishing just behind this year’s Everest winner Yes Yes Yes but unfortunately has failed to break her maiden in 8 starts since. Returned well last start, finishing 2nd behind Paul’s Regret at The Valley. Should improved 2nd up and gets her chance to break her maiden status here.
SANDOWN – RACE 3 1200m 16:50 AEDT
THE CARD PLAYERS ($5.50)
Wide open field of thirteen lines up here but I’m going with The Card Players, who looks to have a class edge on the field. Has won previously at this grade and last prep had been racing in BM70 & BM78. Was lugged with 62kg but will be carded at 60kg after Poy’s 2kg claim. Looks a solid bet.
WARWICK FARM – RACE 7 1100m 17:50 AEDT
COCO CUBER ($3.40)
Coco Cuber looks to be a talent on the up and returned with an impressive win (albeit at short odds), when having no trouble chasing them down at Gosford last start. Prior to that finished under a length away on debut. Should have no trouble leading them along here and should be very hard to run down under the services of Nash Rawiller.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
SANDOWN – RACE 4 2400m 17:25 AEDT
COUNT ZERO ($19.00)
There’s many worse $19 shots going around than the in-form Count Zero who looks to be an out and out stayer. He scored a solid all-the-way win at Cranbourne last start at BM64 grade and although this looks harder, there’s no doubt about his staying ability. Draws a good barrier and could run a solid race at odds.
