Horse Racing Bets – Saturday 7 December 2019 – Bluey’s Tips

BLUEY’S BEST BETS – 07/12/2019

ROSEHILL – RACE 2 1800m 13:50 AEDT

STATUESQUELY ($3.00)

This Gai Waterhouse/Adrian Bott trained mare has gone close in all three runs this prep and looks the standout bet here. Gets out to 1800 metres and from barrier two should be able to find the front and control the race with the Tim Clark on board.

PACKENHAM – RACE 5 1600m 15:20 AEDT

ODEON ($3.20)

Ran less than a length to the in-form Teleplay when first up over 1300 metres at Sandown in the Group Three Kevin Heffernan Stakes. Hey Doc ran third there and has since come out and been victorious in the Winterbottom Stakes at Ascot. Steps up to the mile and only carries 57 kilograms after a claim from Thomas Stockdale and after trialling well at Cranbourne looks well placed here.

ROSEHILL – RACE 5 1500m 15:40 AEDT

BIGBOYROY ($3.80)

Victorious in his past two outings (albeit a dead heat last start) and a further trio of second placings prior shows that this is an in-form horse that knows where the line is. Didn’t get the run of the race last start but fought on well and here looks to be able to jump and lead easily from the inside draw – will take a power of beating.

BLUEY’S BEST VALUE

PACKENHAM – RACE 8 1400m 17:20 AEDT

KAZIO ($18.00)

Lugged 63 kilograms when 5th at Packenham first up and drops down to 57 here per race conditions. Has never missed the placings over this trip from nine starts which also includes four wins and also possesses two wins second up. Brett Prebble has ridden this Colin Little trained gelding previously and at this price presents great value.
