FLEMINGTON – RACE 1 1600m 12:15 AEDT
MANDELA EFFECT ($3.80)
Talented horse who has been in form but yet to score a win this prep. Two starts back finished within 1.3L of Rox The Castle who has been one of the form horses recently. Last start finished under a length away from the talented Gold Fields in the Sale Cup. Has been in top form this prep and this looks like a nice race for him to finally score a win.
ROSEHILL – RACE 3 2400m 13:55 AEDT
ANGEL OF HEAVEN ($2.60)
Has been racing solidly without winning this prep, finishing in the placings in all three runs. Looks like an out an out stayer as we saw last prep, where she had three consecutive runs at 2200m and finished roughly around a length away in all of them, including the Group 1 Queensland Oaks. Extremely consistent mare who should prove tough to beat fourth up at 2400m.
FLEMINGTON – RACE 5 1200m 14:50 AEDT
SANTA ANA LANE ($2.20)
Will be well backed here today and for good reason. Supremely talented horse who possesses an unmatched turn of foot when it all goes right. Was good first up behind Sunlight where he likely wasn’t fully wound up and followed that up with a solid run in The Everest where he finished half a length from winner Yes Yes Yes. Looks very hard to beat.
ROSEHILL – RACE 7 1400m 16:40 AEDT
REELEM IN RUBY ($4.50)
Reelem in Ruby has been unable to reel them in so far this prep, finishing a narrow second in both of her runs. She never runs a bad race and is yet to finish out of the placings during her career. This is an open race but she looks primed for a third up victory.

FLEMINGTON – RACE 3 1400m 13:30 AEDT
HILO ($13)
Two up & comers head the market here through the undefeated Knickpoint and Banquo. Whilst these look talented, I think they can be risked here and perhaps Hilo can be the one to do so. Has been racing in this grade or higher in his past three starts and performed well in all runs. Looks to get a cosy lead in front and the rail out 9m should benefit him.
