RANDWICK – RACE 3 1200m 12:45 AEST
SIR ELTON ($1.80)
Tipped against Sir Elton in his last start, thinking he may be outclassed jumping from Wyong to Randwick. He more than measured up in that race, in fact dominating the field by 2L. He has handled all track conditions so far and looks to be progressing through the grades nicely. He can continue his rise with another win here.
FLEMINGTON – RACE 4 2500m 13:35 AEST
LORD BELVEDERE ($2.60)
Overseas import who is only having his third run on Australian turf. His debut over 1600m at Cranbourne was successful and resulted in a victory. He followed that with a solid third at Rosehill over 1800m and now gets a chance to showcase his staying ability over the 2500m. Has a terrific overseas staying record and that form should translate nicely for this race.
RANDWICK – RACE 7 1400m 15:15 AEST
LJUNGBERG ($2.90)
Had absolutely no trouble getting through the Heavy ground last start at Randwick, scoring a terrific 2L victory. Prior to that was narrowly defeated at Rosehill. Racing in terrific form and should get a lovely trail in behind the leaders. Rock hard fit and looks very tough to beat.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
FLEMINGTON – RACE 5 1400m 14:15 AEST
VITANI ($13.00)
Extremely consistent mare who always puts in a solid performance. Has never finished worse than fourth in a race. She finished behind El Questro last start out at Sandown in the Heavy ground, who jumps favourite here. Vitani should improve second up and looks to get a great position in running, making her a great value play.
