CAULFIELD – RACE 4 1400m 12:55 AEST
MORRISSY ($3.10)
Talented up and comer who has been racing in terrific form recently. Last start at Sandown scored a fairly easy victory and prior to that was close up at Flemington. Has progressed through the grades nicely and has found another winnable race here. Looks a great chance.
CAULFIELD - RACE 5 1400m 13:30 AEST
ORGANZA ($1.75)
Tipped her here two weeks in a row before she was scratched and I think she finds yet another winnable race here. She’s a notable bridesmaid but I was extremely impressed by her run last start at Ipswich where she just found one better in Ready To Prophet. She was 13th at the 400m and by the time she got out, the race was all but over. Expecting another top performance here.
ROSEHILL - RACE 4 2000m 13:15 AEST
PRIMITIVO ($3.00)
Progressive gelding who is starting to work through the grades nicely. He burst through to score a strong win over Wu Gok last start in the wet at Randwick. Wu Gok has gone on to win since (and was backed as if unbeatable) which bodes well for Primitivo. Enjoys the sting out of the ground and should enjoy a decent tempo here. Should be able to finish over the top of them late.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
CAULFIELD – RACE 7 1200m 14:50 AEST
VOILA ($7.00)
Loved the way she quickened last start at this track to score a half-length victory over Sweet Jazz. Prior to that win, she been racing solidly and came out of the same race as the aforementioned Morrissy, which looks to be a good form line. Is rock hard fit at the moment and with the expected hot tempo she looks a great value bet in this race.
