FLEMINGTON - RACE 4 1600m 13:25 AEST
ANOTHER DOLLAR ($3.70)
Should be able to get a beautiful run in behind the leaders here. Really liked the way she hit the line first up at Flemington, finishing off strongly behind a few nice types. Should appreciate the rise to 1600m here and with a better barrier she should be able to peel out and put herself in the finish here.
FLEMINGTON - RACE 7 1200m 15:25 AEST
HAUNTED ($3.30)
Talented gelding who puts in a solid effort each time he comes to the track. Went down narrowly last start as $2.20 favourite but worth noting he was in the inferior ground that day. Start prior to that was brilliant at Caulfield, scoring a good win over a strong field. Should bounce back to his best form here and be hard to beat.
EAGLE FARM – RACE 4 1300m 12:55 AEST
QUILISTA ($2.40)
Finding form again this prep, finishing close up in each of her last three starts including a dominant win last week at Doomben where she led the entire way and then booted clear in the home straight. That was impressive and if she can repeat that run here, she should be winning again.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
RANDWICK – RACE 7 1400m 15:10 AEST
SPECIAL MISSILE ($8.50)
Should be able to cross from the middle barrier and get into his preferred front-running role quite easily. He’s done exactly that in his last two starts, leading all the way and giving a great sight late, which was good enough for a win last start at Scone. Rock hard fit here and this looks an extremely open race. Should give a good sight.
