This Waller trained runner looks perfectly set to break his maiden here today. Last prep he finished under 1.5L away in all three of his starts and he should take great improvement from those runs. Had a solid hit out in a recent trial and should do enough here with James McDonald on board in a small, weak field.

Has improved markedly in the last 2 preps, putting together a consistent string of runs that looks a good chance to cultivate into a win here today. Last start ran on strongly from the rear into the placings behind Green Aeon who looks a good type. Draws a nice barrier here and looks a great chance.
GEELONG - RACE 7 2400m 15:55 AEST

Returned from a very lengthy spell to put in two very solid runs which included a 0.8L fourth at Sandown and most recently a 1.75L second at Geelong to the talented Admiral’s Joker who had support last week. May have been a touch underdone in those two runs coming off such a long layoff and should improve further here today. Jump to 2400m a plus – he has had success making a similar jump in the past.

Has improved with each run in his short career which has culminated in 2 consecutive second placings in his last 2 runs. Rock hard fit at the moment and his last start at Seymour he ran boldly for a narrow 0.3L defeat which was very solid. Is drawn to get a gun run here and should put in another solid run.
