Flemington – Race 5 2000m 15:15 AEDT
SUPERNOVA ($4.50)
Overseas import who had two trials before making her debut for the Hawkes stable last start. Was 9L off the leader at the turn over 1500m and rattled home to finish 2nd, 2L from the winner. Out to further should suit the import and the spacious Flemington track should suit her racing pattern. Expecting big improvement second up.
Rosehill - Race 7 1500m 16:50 AEDT
I AM SERIOUS ($5.50)
Flashed home first up at this track only to be beaten a neck by the highly unfancied White Moss who jumped at 40-1+. Will have taken improvement from that run and most importantly should get through the wet track which is expected. Very open race but she is a talented horse who looks to be a great chance here.
Rosehill - Race 8 1500m 17:30 AEDT
LAND OF PLENTY ($4.50)
Extremely unlucky to not get a start in the All Star Mile and surely would have been one of the main fancies there. Has been super this prep, improving with each run and no doubt will be tuned up as would have planned for the ASM. Absolutely looking for the mile but 1500m should be no issue and provided he gets through the bog track will be very hard to beat.

QUILISTA ($10.00)
While I concede the favourite Clarice Cliffs will be very tough to beat, the speedy Quilista may be able to provide some resistance should any issues arise with the hot pot. Quilista flies fresh and has competed well in strong company previously, including a 2.5L defeat in an Oakleigh Plate. First start for new trainer Justin Warwick following the Darren Weir saga but based on other Weir runners, she should hold up well.
