LYCURGUS ($2.00)
Looks perfectly tuned up here, having his fifth start for the prep in what looks to be an ideal race. Last start was outmatched by Etymology but battled on well for second. Oliver will be able to control the race and with his race fitness should prove too tough to run down.
Flemington - Race 7 1000m 16:40 AEDT
CHAMPAGNE CUDDLES ($2.05)
Talented filly who returns here for Bjorn Baker. Didn’t score a win last prep, but was close up at Group 2 level, narrowly losing to Shumookh in the Golden Pendant. Fair trial run means she should be right for this. If tuned up as expected, will be hard to beat here.
Rosehill - Race 7 1200m 17:00 AEDT
ALL TOO ROYAL ($2.80)
Was given a lovely frontrunning ride by McDonald last start at Canterbury for a controlled win. Prior to that was narrowly defeated twice – he could easily be 5 from 5 this prep. McDonald jumps off, but due to the lack of pressure in the race, he looks to get another easy lead and could very well continue his great form.

Consistent gelding who finally broke through last start at Caulfield after a long string of narrow defeats. Meech will likely cross from the wide barrier and either lead or be near the pace. With the rail out 9m, a controlled run out front from this consistent gelding could outlast them here.
