Looks a terrific chance to break his maiden here after a brave 3rd two runs ago before giving Nakeeta Jane 5kg last start. Nakeeta Jane franked that form with a terrific close up run in the G1 Flight Stakes when flashed home from the rear behind Oohood. Should be hard to beat!
Caulfield - Race 5 1100m 14:30 AEDT
VOODOO LAD ($4.20)
Ultra-consistent horse who has been the yardstick during this preparation. Beat Home of the Brave who would have been running in The Everest this week had not been scratched. Apart from a handful of runners, this is a fairly weak field and Voodoo Lad looks an excellent chance here.
Caulfield - Race 6 1600m 15:10 AEDT
SMART MELODY ($2.70)
Should be able to control the race with no pressure from the inside and that should offset any query (if any) about the jump to 1600m. Has been excellent so far in her career and no reason to jump off the unbeaten filly!

Arguably should be unbeaten if not for bad luck first up. Has been nothing short of spectacular in his career so far and given clear air, we should see that customary sprint for him to finish over the top of his rivals. Gun jockey McDonald on board a plus too.
